Honesty & Integrity Above All Else
Serving the Growing EV Infrastructure Industry
Precon created our EVEZ line of pre-cast EV infrastructure products because of demand from agencies and private contractors. Pouring concrete in the field is expensive and time-consuming, often taking weeks while the site is prepared, with rebar and forms being built, inspections taking place, and waiting for the concrete to cure. We saw the need for a solution that could save time and money.
Creating new kinds of pre-cast products is not a simple, straightforward process. It takes a special kind of business – one that can respond quickly to the customer’s needs, adapt solutions, and overcome problems.
Family Owned and Operated with Invaluable Field Experience
We’re a family-owned business that has been manufacturing precast concrete products for over 60 years. We’ve worked in difficult remote locations, such as the Channel Islands, or Antarctica, and through our experience working construction, we know the effort it takes to complete projects on time and budget.
Our EVEZ team is here to help with every step along the way to ensure the core values that Precon Products has lived up to for more than six decades. At the end of the day, it’s about solving problems together, and moving forward.
Our Core Values
- Honesty and integrity, above all else.
- Trust among team members and clients.
- Always seek a win-win solution.
- Exceed customer’s expectations.
- Find the right solution for each customer.
- Earn an excellent reputation through our integrity, quality products, and superior customer service.
Guided by Over 60 Years of Experience
In 1963, Don Domingo Zarraonandia left his sales position at American Pipe and founded Precon Products, the parent company of EVEZ, in Thousand Oaks, California. He poured the first manhole shaft in his garage and secured a 1-acre site in Thousand Oaks next to MGM’s Jungle Land, now the site of The Lakes.
His vision for success centered on responsive customer service and innovation in the pre-cast concrete industry. By 1972, Precon had outgrown its 1-acre site and Don purchased 10 acres on the west side of Simi Valley. Within 15 years, Precon had secured its position as the preferred supplier of sewer and storm drain manholes.
His legacy lives on in the people that make Precon Products what it is today. Not only are his sons and daughters still running the business, but his grandsons and even great-grandsons carry the same passion and pride for service. For us, it’s not just a business; it’s a legacy.
